int_(-2)^1 | -x - x^2 + 2| dx = 4 - 7/3 + 1/2
int_(-2)^1 | -x - x^2 + 2| dx = (24 - 14 + 3)/6
int_(-2)^1 | -x - x^2 + 2| dx = 13/6
Hence, evaluating the area enclosed by the curves y = -x and y = x^2 - 2 yields int_(-2)^1 | -x - x^2 + 2| dx = 13/6.
