College Algebra, Chapter 3, 3.3, Section 3.3, Problem 6

The graph of a function $g$ is given below.

"Please refer to the graph in the book"

a.) Find $g(-2), g(0)$ and $g(7)$.

Based from the graph, $g(-2) = 4, g(0) = 7$ and $g(7) = 4$

b.) Find the domain and range of $g$.

The domain and range of $g$ is $[-2, 8]$ and $[2, 7]$ respectively.

c.) Find the values of $x$ for which $g(x) = 4$.

The values of $x$ for which $g(x) = 4$, are $x = -2, 2$ and $7$.

d.) Find the values of $x$ for which $g(x) > 4$.

The values of $x$ for which $g(x) > 4$ are $-2 < x < 2$ and $7 < x < 8$.
