There are several factors that lead to industrialization and immigration. One factor necessary for industrialization is the availability of resources. These resources are used to manufacture products and also to provide power to the factories making those products.
A second factor that impacts industrialization is the availability of capital. People need to provide funds to invest in various businesses and in new business models. This leads to a third factor, which is the entrepreneurial spirit. People need to be willing to develop new products and to take risks in doing so. Without these people, industrial progress would be much slower.
A fourth factor leading to industrialization and immigration is the need for workers. Without an ample supply of workers, businesses will find it difficult to make products. Historically, immigrants who were looking for work in Europe wanted to come to the United States to hopefully make a better life for themselves and for their families.
