Illustrate the solution set of $3x + 2y \leq 12$

To graph the inequality, we first find the intercepts of the line $\displaystyle y = -\frac{3}{2}x + 6$.
In this case, the $x$-intercept (set $y = 0$) is $(4,0)$

\frac{3}{2}x &= 6\\
\\
x &= 6 \left( \frac{2}{3} \right)\\

And the $y$-intercept (set $x = 0$) is $(0,6)$
