What characteristics do the entrepreneur and the professional athlete share

I'm going to narrow the question a bit, and talk about successful entrepreneurs, rather than just "entrepreneurs." "Professional athlete" assumes that the athlete is at the top of his or her game and is successfully earning a living playing that sport. A successful entrepreneur will also be successful at earning a living in the world of business. With that said, here are some characteristics that both people share.
Both are passionate and motivated. They enjoy what they are doing, and want to see the best come out of their efforts. They are simply not happy with the status quo.
Both are not afraid to take risks. Often, what makes a professional athlete stand out is their ability to do something different and unique to give them that edge over their competition. Entrepreneurs will do the same thing.
They both work incredibly hard. Natural talent can only take a person so far. That talent has to be honed and sharpened through dedicated practice. Whether we are talking about athletics or business doesn't change the situation. Both people realize that in order to be better than the competition, they have to constantly work at it.
Both people know their opponents. This is how you win. If you know what your opponent is likely to do, you have the ability to anticipate and react faster or even act first.
