Precalculus, Chapter 9, 9.2, Section 9.2, Problem 13

The first five terms of this sequence are 8, 11, 14, 17, 20. Yes, this is an arithmetic sequence because the difference between (n+1)-th term and n-th term is a constant. This constant is the common difference and is is equal to 3.
