is Walter Mitty a responsible husband? give two evidences from the story

In spite of his frequent escapes into elaborate daydreams in which he saves the day, Walter Mitty is indeed a responsible husband. He does his wife's bidding, even though her attitude toward him is rather condescending.
Mitty's wife sends him on errands while she is at the hairdresser's. She sends him out for overshoes, which he dutifully purchases. Though he has to rack his brain for the other item she sends him for, he remembers that it is a box of puppy biscuits, and he buys them.
Knowing that she does not like to be kept waiting, Mitty arrives early to pick her up and sits waiting in the hotel lobby. She is not grateful for what he has done, but instead of confronting her, Mitty accepts her mild scolding, and the story ends with him waiting in the rain while she goes back inside for something else she wants.
